Issue
Why is it that the SoMachine Gateway (Controller Selection tab) can detect the HMIG5U2 via Ethernet but not with USB cable (XBTZG935 and Mini USB)?
Same question for EcoStruxure Machine Expert and the HMIG5U22.

Resolution
This behavior is normal.
All the HMIs with Windows OS bases (iPC, HMIG5U/G5U2/HMIG5U22, etc..) support SoMachine/MachineExpert protocol only through the Ethernet port.
They do not support the SoMachine/MachineExpert protocol through the USB port.
