Schneider Electric no longer has a product offer for fixed power factor correction capacitors in North America.
The latest power factor correction offer is VarSet. VarSet is an automatic capacitor bank, which means that it adapts the quantity of reactive power provided to the system as necessary to achieve the target power factor. VarSet Standard starts at 75 kVAr for 480 V systems and 50 kVAr for 600 V systems. VarSet Detuned starts at 75 kVAr for 480 V and 600 V systems. The minimum step size is 12.5 kVAr or 25 kVAr, depending on the VarSet model.
