Magelis shows error "configuration file is not unicode"
Issue:
The Magelis HMI fails to boot properly and there is an application halt. The error on the dialog states the following:
Config problem:the configuration file is not unicode
KAOScore:PortableProjectConfiguration.cpp:line 406
Product Line:
Magelis HMI programmed Vijeo Designer (any version)
Resolution:
This error is a result of a corrupt Vijeo Designer installation on the PC where the software is installed. To resolve this issue, please re-install Vijeo Designer and re-download to the HMI.
