Cause:
Conformal coating of the communication modules

Resolution:

The communication modules of ATV320 and Altivar process are coated the same way as the Drives PCB.

Standard is :

• Chemical class 3C3 conforming to IEC/EN 60721-3-3 (1),
• Mechanical class 3S3 conforming to IEC/EN 60721-3-3 (1),

This protects the components against harsh environments such as humidity, pollution, thermal variations and shocks, vibrations and mechanical shocks.
