How to fix an "Ident Mismatch error" on Prosoft Configurator for Modicon ?
In the software Prosoft Configurator for Modicon we make a configuration for a PMEPXM0100 (Profibus Master) to communicate with Profibus Slave devices.
In PCM tool, if we do a device discovery on PXM Status -> Discovered Nodes -> Press Start Discovery, we can find devices with a 0x0000 Identity.
The 0x0000 is not equal to the Identity number on the GSD File of the device so that's why we will see an Ident Mismatch error on the device status.
=> To resolve this problem, you should update the PMEPXM0100 Firmware from v1.002 to v1.003
