Primary PME Server

Resolution

Engineering clients require several settings to be configured in order to communicate with the primary PME server and SQL database.

• The base PME license includes 1 Engineering client license for the primary server, additional licenses are required for additional clients
• A standalone server or an application server must be installed before installing an Engineering client.
• Engineering Clients require that the Power Monitoring Expert folder on the PME server is shared with full read and write permissions. File and Printer Sharing must be enabled.
