What is the problem we explain in this FAQ?
Using HMIBMI series or HMIBMO series with optional RJ45 Ethernet interface HMIYMIN1ETH1, when installing the tool RTS IEEE1588-PTP according to the manual, an Error popup window shows:
No valid License found! Running in demo mode!



Which kind of iPCs and Optional device are concerned?
- HMIBMI series and HMIBMO series with optional RJ45 Ethernet interface ref:HMIYMIN1ETH1
- IEEE1588 Protocol Stack for Microsoft Windows

What happened with this feature?
Optional RJ45 Ethernet interface HMIYMIN1ETH1 based on the Perfect Time Protocol (PTP) IEEE1588 need the RTS tool to be installed.
The Provider of the PTP is no more operational.
As consequence the IEEE1588 function will not work normally and will start in demo mode.

What is the consequence for Schneider-Electric and our customers?
The optional RJ45 Ethernet interface HMIYMIN1ETH1 is no more available on se.com.
As Schneider-Electric can’t anymore consider the PTP IEEE1588 as working normally, and can’t support their customers, we have decided to stop the commercialization of the reference HMIYMIN1ETH1.
For customers who are currently using it please note that LAN features can be used except IEEE1588 function.
