Lexium Cobot Compact Controllers facing power-on issue

Description
A booting issue has been identified with the Lexium Cobot Compact Controller, which may prevent it from powering-on successfully. In this state, the power button (S20) and Control Stick indicators remain yellow and do not turn blue after several minutes. Additionally, connection via EcoStruxure Cobot Expert is not possible.

Affected Lexium Cobot Compact Controllers
The booting issue is limited to the serial number range:
•    LXMRL00C2000 – 8A24224JKA00001 … 36
•    LXMRL00C2000 – 8A24242JKA00001 … 20
•    LXMRL00C2000 – 8A24391JKA00001 … 22
•    LXMRL00C2000 – 8A24471JKA00001 … 16

The serial number is located on the label of the Lexium Compact Controller.

How to fix it?
A patch is available to fix the booting issue and can be downloaded here

Q&A:
-Does this issue also affect Cabinet controllers?
No. This issue only affects Compact controllers.

-What happens if I try to install the patch on a controller with a non-listed serial number?
The patch identifies the serial number and will not be applied.

-Do I need to reinstall the patch if the Lexium Cobot is upgraded with new firmware?
No. The patch is applied permanently to the system and doesn't need to be reinstalled after a firmware upgrade.
