Resolution:
The SAGE 4400 front panel includes LEDs that provide real-time status for communication ports and system conditions:
- Comm LEDs (per RS232 port):
- DCD/+5V: Data Carrier Detect or +5V output
- RX: Receive activity
- TX: Transmit activity
- RTS: Request to Send
- CTS: Clear to Send
- System LEDs:
- Power: Indicates RTU power (normally ON)
- Run: CPU running (blinking = normal; steady ON = Safe/Recovery mode; OFF = CPU not running)
- Reset: Illuminates during reset signal (normally OFF)
- Local: Indicates Local/Remote switch position (Local disables controls)
- Time Source Failed: Configured time source failure
- IED Failed: Communication failure with one or more IEDs
- Alarm 1 & 2: Relay energized status
- User Logged In: Active user session
- Config Changed: New configuration XML file loaded but not yet activated
- RLL Running: ISaGRAF logic program active
- Ethernet Link: Valid Ethernet connection detected
