On units that are under power most of the time, the batteries are expected to approach their shelf life, or approximately 7 – 10 years; depending on the environmental conditions to which they are exposed, and the total amount of power-off time during that period
As soon as battery level reached 3.1 v, It should give an alarm. And if battery level reached 3.0 v battery should be replaced.
