Altivar 61/71 what is the recommended corrective action when the motor runs in reverse with a run forward command?
Issue:
The motor is running backwards with a forward run command on the drive.
Product line:
Altivar ATV61 and ATV71
Environment:
All models, all serial numbers
Cause:
The phase rotation is inverted coming out of the drive going to the motor.
Resolution:
Option 1:
To correct the motor rotation swap two motor leads on the drive output terminals.
Option 2:
Go in the simple start menu 1.1 find output phase rotation change it from ABC to ACB.
Refer to the ATV61 and ATV71 programming manuals.
