Issue
In PM2020/PME2021 web report represents incorrect values when the report Measurements Selector changed from one mode to another mode (Smart Mode/Detailed Mode). Different values are shown for same measurement selected in different mode as shown below

Cause
In PME 2020 and PME 2021 when a report measurement selector is configured with detailed mode and then if the measurement selection is switched/changed to smart mode then the report gives incorrect data. This is because the measurement selected in detailed mode is not cleared during the change of measurement selection mode. Please refer the below illustration

Detailed mode selection

First in detailed mode the selected measurement is “Real Energy into The Load”



Please refer the attached report “Energy Usage Report” for the result.
Smart Mode:
Then the report measurement selection is changed to smart mode “Real Energy” but the already selected measurement “Real Energy into The Load” is not shown in measurements.



Please refer the attached report “Energy Usage Report (1)” for the result, it is a summation of both the measurement.


Resolution

Whenever the report measurement input mode is changed make sure that the measurement selected in previous mode is cleared first before changing the mode.

This workaround will fix the issue.

NOTE:
This issue is fixed in PME next release PME2022.
