IG6 - What does error code 2.20 mean?

Cause:
Error code 2.20
Resolution:
Error code 2.20 indicates there is an RS-485 Bus Error.
Action:
Ensure that no two devices on the RS-485 network have the same bus address set by following this procedure to change the communication address of the IG2000CBM remote indicators:

Hold the TEST and MUTE buttons simultaneously for at least four seconds.
“SP” will display on the upper and lower screens.

Push the TEST button until “Ad” is displayed in the top screen and two numbers (the factory default of “02”) is displayed in the bottom screen.
This number is the communication address of the IG2000CBM remote indicator.

Press the MUTE button. Press the TEST button until the desired address is displayed on the screen.
Press the MUTE button to confirm this value.

Press the TEST button.
“AR” will display on the top screen, and two numbers (factory default “01”) will display on the bottom screen. This is the address of the connected IG6 device. In most applications, this value will not need to be changed. If so, skip to step 5. Otherwise, press the MUTE button. Press the TEST button until the desired IG6 address appears, and press MUTE again to confirm this value.

Cycle power to the IG2000CBM to finish.
If the issue persists Check RS-485 wiring, if damaged, please replace the wiring.
