How can you setup the ATV320 drive so that its in ATV32 identifier mode to allow ATV32 CANopen EDS files?

Issue:

ATV320 drive so that its in ATV32 identifier mode?

Product Line:

ATV320 series

Environment:

All

Cause:

Wants to use existing CANopen EDS files from the ATV32 on the ATV320 replacement drives.

Resolution:

When using ATV32 EDS file under CANopen in Advantys:

  • If the drive ATV320 has version less than version V2.9IE34à the drive used a mechanism with hidden parameter ( AP12), so you can used ATV320 as ATV32 ( Like with Advantys with ATV32 EDS).
  • If the drive ATV320 has version equal or greater then version V2.9IE34 --> AP12 is replaced by NTID parameter.

NTID Fieldbus Identifier selection CANopen address is 5F in hex. Its a R/WS address. WS means you can write to the parameter if the drive is stopped.

NTID= 1 Drive will be identified as a ATV32 drive.

NTID= 0 Drive will be identified as a ATV320 drive.
