Nutanix Files Start fails if sufficient time is not allowed after cluster is started.

Issue:

Nutanix Files Start command fails when issued shortly after cluster startup completes.

The following message appears in the error.log file -

2025-12-10T01:07:15,435 ERROR pool-9-thread-1 com.apcc.m11.components.shutdowner.NutanixClusterOps java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.rmi.RemoteException: Failed to start AFS
at java.base/java.util.concurrent.CompletableFuture.reportGet(CompletableFuture.java:396) - startAFS() - failed to start AFS: {}

Environment:

Nutanix AHV 10.3, AOS 7.3

Cause:

The Files Start command fails when issued shortly after the cluster startup completes.

Solution:

Increase Cluster Start duration to allow enough time between cluster start and attempt to re-start Nutanix Files. This may need to be set between 10 and 15 minutes.
