PME - How to find the source of data for a virtual meter using Vista

Issue

There is a need to find where data under a virtual source is being logged from.

Resolution

1. Open Vista and go to File > New.

2. Click and drag a Data Log Viewer onto the diagram:

3. Right-click on the Data Log Viewer.

4. Open the Query Server tab and make sure the QUERYSERVER is shown. If it's blank, select Custom Query Server > Edit Link and select it manually.

5. Open the Query tab > Edit Query. Select the virtual source where the data is logged under, click Add, then Next.

6. The name of the log and the source where the data is originally logged from is shown.

In the example below, it's logged in a Data Recorder Module called "Totals Log" in the VIP.DEFAULT.
