How to troubleshoot if a Zelio Relay has a flashing/flickering screen.

Issue:

A Zelio Relay has a screen that is flashing/flickering.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. 24V power supply:

- Measure the voltage directly at the Zelio terminals with the loads activated. (No temporary drop < 22V and no overvoltage > 28V).

- Check the 24V wiring (length, cross-section, tightness).

2. EMC interference from the environment, Eg: VSDs, Pumps, Generators, Motors etc:

- Move contactors, relays, solenoid valves, etc., away from the Zelio.

- Verify that no high-power motor cables run alongside the Zelio cables and check that the control box is properly grounded.

3. Zelio inputs:

- Test operation with intermediate relays (galvanic isolation).

4. Temperature:

- Measure the temperature inside the control box, near the Zelio. Verify that the temperature remains below 40°C during continuous operation.

5. Load tests, if there are multiple controlled units/equipments connecting to Zelio Relay:

- Run all controlled equipments simultaneously while monitoring the supply voltage.

- Test by powering those controlled equipments one at a time to identify the issued equipment.

- Perform a test with relays or optocouplers on all 3 inputs.
