How to restore Security Expert Server (SX-SRV) database?
  1. Stop all Security Expert Services from Windows-Services.
  2. Open SQL Server Management Studio from the Start Menu.
Note: If SQL Management Studio can't be found, it can be downloaded from Microsoft website for free.
  1. At Connect to Server screen, choose the server name and the preferable authentication method then click Connect.

  1. Go back to General page and click Verify Backup Media, after that Progress will show Done.
  2. Click OK to start the restore process. Progress is shown as the database is restored.
  3. Once the restore is complete, restart the Security Expert Services.
