What is the cause of the EF2 fault code on the ATV21 and ATV212 drives?

ATV212: EF2 Fault

Product line:

Environment:
All models, all serial numbers

Cause:
Ground Fault on the output of the drive.

Resolution:
EF2= Ground Fault

Troubleshooting tips

• Check the motor ground connections. Make sure the ground is going to the chassis of the drive.
• Remove the motor leads from the drive and Megger with a 1KV Megger to see if there is a short to ground in the motor windings.
