PL707 uses the standard DOS file name.
The following list summarizes the DOS rules for naming files.
1. File name can be up to eight characters long. In addition you have an extension (Automatic with PL707
software).
2. Letters are not case-sensitive. It does not matter whether you use uppercase or lower-case letters
when you type them.
3. File name can only contain letters A through Z, the numbers 0 through 9, and the following special characters:
underscore U, caret (A), dollar sign ($), tilde (-), exclamation point (!), number sign (#), percent sign (%),
ampersand (&), hyphen (-), braces ({}), at sign (@), single quotation mark ( ), apostrophe ( ),
and parentheses O. No other special characters are acceptable.
4. File name cannot contain spaces, commas, backslashes, or periods (except the period that separates
the name from the extension).
5. File name cannot be identical to the name of another file name in the same directory.
If the file name does not comply with DOS file naming conventions, an "Invalid File name"
message is displayed.
