What are the dip switches (RM and Stand by) used for on the ConneXium Ethernet Managed Switches?
The following table shows the states and meanings for the dip switches on the ConneXium Ethernet Managed Switches.
Note: If the Dip switches were not both set to 1 before the initial power up of the switch then all software settings for Redundancy will be greyed out and the default port settings will be use.
At this point to make the redundancy settings available the switch configuration needs to be erased and the switch need to have both Dip switched set to 1 upon power up.
