Goals and Symptoms

The communication between the ION meter and the ION Enterprise server is good. When configuring the communication module in Designer the OK button is greyed out. This prevents modifications from being completed in this module.

Causes and Fixes

Follow the workaround below to resolve the issue:

1. Drag any other module to the framework. (i.e. Arithmetic module)
2. Save the module and Designer will pop-up a window asking for a user name and password.
3. Enter the correct password and open the communication module again and the OK button should be available.
