Can we upgrade PME 7.2.2 running on SQL Server 2008 Express to SQL Server 2012 Standard?
Issue:
Customer is currently running PME 7.2.2 on SQL Server 2008 Express and would like to upgrade it to SQL Server 2012 Standard

Environment:
Power Monitoring Expert Software Upgrade
Cause:
Some customers might have installed PME on SQL Express but due to system expansion would like to move to a Standard Edition to avoid database size limitations that come with Express.
Resolution:
*Warning: Irreparable database damage can occur. This procedure should only be performed by users familiar with SQL Server Management Studio. Databases should be backed up prior to performing this procedure.*
Attached document goes over steps to upgrade the SQL Edition PME is running on from SQL Express to SQL Standard.
Note: Recommend stopping the ION and Application Module services before performing the upgrade. The Installer will stop the SQL service and all services Dependant on SQL.
