Yes, an external 24Vdc can be provided to the ATV320 in order to power up the display and program the drive.
To connect an external 24VDC supply to the ATV320, the P24 terminal must be used.
The P24 is an input and output:
- When there is no external supply connected to this terminal, the P24 is an output and delivers 24VDC to the STO circuit.
- When there is an external supply connected to this terminal, the P24 is an input and the drive is supplied by the external supply.
The +24 terminal is used to provide 24VDC to the drive digital inputs.
+24 is not designed to be used as an input to supply the control block.
