to be entered properly and internal bindings to objects like graphics shall be maintained, the required DRF kit or
XIF files shall be imported to the servers before the Conversion Tool is run connected to these servers.
If no DRF-kit is installed, the device and its signals is converted based on the information in the XIF-file."
- Sometime it could happen 3rd party devices are not converted.
Conversion report indicates "Failed to parse XIF file. Invalid file Error in application...".
In this case you must create device template for Building operation database from a XIF-file before conversion process started.
Right click server icon in system tree : LonWorks | Import device template.
- In case there are not available XIF files for 3rd party devices, load XIF files from EBO:
1. Connect EBO to live LonWorks network,
2. Click ES icon in system tree, then select Discovery LonWorks network
3. Right click search devices
4. Select requested 3rd party devices according application ID or Neuron ID
5. Right click Generate Xif file, save.
