How to download an application to an HMIBMI series using Vijeo Designer?

Issue:
The HMIBMI or HMIBMO series is not listed as a target model in Vijeo Designer V6.2 SP8. How do we download to the HMI?

Product Line:
HMIBMI, HMIBMO

Resolution:
In order to download to the HMIBMI or HMIBMO series from Vijeo Designer, we must treat these two iPC series as a Generic Windows PC target type. The reason for this is because these models were not intended to be supported in Vijeo Designer and only in EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert.

To add the Generic Windows PC target type in Vijeo Designer, please enter the code: VJDHTGTSPV62M at the Help->About->License Tab->Upgrade button dialog. Once the code is entered, restart Vijeo Designer. Upon restarting, you will notice that there is now a Generic Windows PC Series as a target type in the list of models supported.

Choose the Generic Windows PC Series as the target type and remember to set the screen resolution accordingly.
