The following article describes the steps necessary to configure a Modbus-Advanced Generic Direct Outstation over TCP/IP Connection in ClearSCADA as follows:
1- Make sure that Modbus-Advanced Driver is installed, check the below link of how to install a driver in ClearSCADA

2- Create a Modbus-Advanced Direct Channel- right-click where you want to create the channel, select Modbus-Advanced and select Direct Channel.
3- Configure the Direct Channel as follows:
4- Create Modbus-Advanced Direct Outstation Set- right-click where you want to create the Outstation set, select Modbus-Advanced and select Direct Outstation Set.
5- Configure the Direct Outstation Set as follows:
6- Create Modbus-Advanced Generic Direct Outstation- right-click where you want to create the Outstation, select Modbus-Advanced, select Generic and select Direct Outstation.
7- Configure the Direct Outstation as follows:
Note: Check the Windows firewall settings to make sure that the windows firewall does not block the connection.
