The Update Firmware option is available when both the field unit and base radio are using firmware version 2.00 or newer and you have an Administrator level account open in Accutech Manager. Updating field unit firmware can only be done using Accutech Manager.
The field unit will stop operation and stop reporting to the base radio when the firmware update is performed. Information from the field unit will not be available during this time. Control commands will not be received by the field unit during this time. The field unit will not control outputs during this time.

To update the Base radio firmware.
- Select the Base & Output Devices.
- Right click on the base radio listed then select update firmware.
3. A new window will pop up.
- Click the Browse button and navigate to the location of the firmware file. Accutech field units use firmware files that are specific to the country of use for 915 MHz field units and 2.4 GHz firmware files for 2.4 GHz field units.
- Firmware files are installed with Accutech Manager and are located in the sub folder named Firmware in the location where Accutech Manager is installed. Subfolders of the Firmware folder contain firmware files for 2.4 GHz, US (United States/Canada), and AU (Australia) versions of the wireless field unit. For example, when Accutech Manager is installed in the folder “C:\Program Files\Schneider Electric\Accutech
- Select the firmware file.
- Click the update firmware button to begin the firmware update process .
