why does Control expert generate a linking error when I link a variable from a PROCESS section to a variable from a SAFE section ?

This error occurs when the client :

uses Control Expert 14.0
loads an already-built application
adds new variables in a SAFE section and in a SAFE section
links the variables
run a "build change"

workarounds :

export to .zef format, and reimport
run a build-all instead of a build-change

This bug was fixed in Control Expert 14.1
