What are Manager, Module and Register names for External modules used in a translator file?
Issue
When modifying a translator in DTE, there is no External (Numeric, Boolean, Pulse) module in the Measurement Tree for linking to a newly created register in the Modbus Map.

Cause
Using a control object in Vista requires an External (Numeric, Boolean, Pulse) module in the translator file. Sometimes it is necessary to modify the translator to add such a module.

Resolution
*Warning: Take backups of any files prior to modifying them. Ensure the backups are in a location that will not be overwritten.*

The ION extension file in the .../config/translators folder has the ION configuration for any custom translator.

1. The 'Manager' name doesn't matter, leave it as default.

2. Proper 'Module' names should be one of:
ExternalNumeric_Module
ExternalBoolean_Module
ExternalPulse_Module

3. Proper 'Register' names should be one of:
NumericVariable_Register
Boolean_Register
Pulse_Register
Enumerated_Register

An example for an External Numeric Module:

ManagerObj" t:H="160433152" t:P="2" t:N="Write to Numeric" t:CI="Manager_Module" t:MC="Universal_Module">

ModuleObj" t:H="160433153" t:P="160433152" t:N="Numeric" t:CI="ExternalNumeric_Module">

RegisterObj" t:H="160433154" t:P="160433153" t:N="Register 1" t:L="Reset Energy" t:CI="NumericVariable_Register"/>
