PME 8.2 distributed install fails on 'Configure SQL Server' and 'Verify Databases' steps

Issue
When installing PME 8.2 distributed, the 'Configure SQL Server' step is not successful and the installer stops at 'Verify Databases'. The installation log includes an error such as "Could not deploy package. Missing values for the following SqlCmd variables:LogFilePath".

Cause
During the Database Files Destination step, the destination folder selected was at the root of a drive (for example, C:\ as shown below). This is a SQL restriction as SQL data and log files cannot be placed in the root of a drive, because of the way permissions work with regards to the root of the drive compared to its subfolders.
