How can I setup an XBTF Magelis HMI to communicate to a M580 via Modbus RS232?
Issue:

Resolution:
For RS232 communication between the Magelis XBTF and M580 PLC, you must use the BMXNOM0200 serial communication module. The communication cable between the XBTF HMI and NOM module is shown below.
The NOM module Channel 0 must be configured for Modbus RS232 as shown below
The XBTF configuration( Baud rate, Parity, stop bit and Timeout between frames) should match the serial port setup of the BMXNOM0200 module.
