What could cause EADM to take along time to open?
If the host PC does not have the latest Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL) and it is not connected to the Internet, then it is possible for Windows to try fetching the latest CRLs and run into a timeout wait state until the proceeding to the next step of the opening process.. This could cause EADM to take a long time to open.
To resolve the issue, ensure that the PC has the latest CRL.
