EcoStruxure Control Expert DIF requests login credentials when opening

Issue:

When opening Control Expert Dif, customer is prompted to enter a Username and Password. Customer does not know what username and password to use.

Product:

EcoStruxure Control Expert DIF 15.2

EcoStruxure Control Expert Classic 16.0

Cause:

Starting with Control Expert 16.0, there is no longer a default password for the SecurityAdmin user. The first time you open the Security Editor you will be prompted to create a new password for this user.

Resolution:

While it is not required to go through the password process to use Control Expert Classic 16.0, it seems this needs to be done in order to open Control Expert Dif 15.2.

Please open the Security Editor tool and go through the process of creating a password for that user and that will allow you to open Control Expert Dif afterwards.
