What software is needed to program the HMIET6 family?

Issue:

The HMIET6 model doesn’t appear in either Vijeo Designer or EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert.

Environment:

Vijeo Designer Basic v2.0 and newer

Cause:

You may be trying to use the wrong software to download your project to the HMIET6.

Resolution:

The software needed to program the HMIET6 family is Vijeo Designer Basic. This is a free software available for download on the Schneider Electric website.

Important: Vijeo Designer Basic is not the same as Vijeo Designer. Projects created in Vijeo Designer cannot be opened or converted in Vijeo Designer Basic due to differences in features.
