Why does EPC-M crash when "Skip Password" is selected with PAS?
The crash occurs when EPC-M version 2.2.0 is used with PAS firmware version 2.3.0 and the user selects the "Skip Password" option. This behavior is due to incompatibility between these versions and a failure to meet the RED DR cybersecurity compliance requirements.
To avoid this issue:
- Upgrade EPC-M to version 2.3.0 when using PAS 2.3.0.
- If using EPC-M 2.3.0 with PAS 2.2.0, it is recommended to upgrade PAS to version 2.3.0 for full compatibility and RED DR compliance.
