EcoStruxure process Expert [2025]: How to rectify system start issue happens due to PostGre SQL error
This knowledge base explains the user to troubleshoot the starting of system server error.
As a normal procedure ,user starts the Ecostruxure Process Expert (EPE) SW. It gets stuck with the error as shown in the screenshot below:
After completing the basic checks—such as verifying the firewall settings, restarting the system and confirming that the PostgreSQL port was open, it was observed that the user had allocated only 4 GB of RAM. Once the RAM allocation was increased to 32 GB, the system server started functioning smoothly.
This is applicable to EcoStruxure Process Expert 2025 only.
