Register containing count integrator roll-overs count required for the ION6200

Issue
There are no roll-over count registers available for the integrator modules on the ION6200.

Product Line
ION6200

Cause
The ION6200 is slightly different than other ION devices in that most of its configuration parameters are hard-coded into the device and cannot be modified. The ION6200 is not a "true ION" device. Yes, there are "integrator modules" however these modules have hard-coded registers, and not all of the same output registers are available like on the ION73xx and high devices. Only the total accumulated value is available.

Resolution
If a roll-over count is required there are some alternative solutions:

  1. If using an ION device to Modbus Master an ION6200, create a Modbus register map to read a power register(kW tot, kVAR tot...) and add an integrator module on the ION device ( Modbus Master). Link this register to the integrator module and configure this module accordingly.
  2. Use the VIP. Create an integrator Module in the VIP linked to a power register(kW tot, kVAR tot...) from an ION6200 and configure this module accordingly.
To avoid losing any resolution of the energy accumulated value it is recommended that the rollover be set to 10 000 000. This default roll-over value is set at this number because it is a convenient number that is easier to remember than 16777215 (=2^24-1) which is the absolute limit imposed by the 32bit IEEE register format without loss of resolution on the stored number.
