Yes. If you initially have the SD card in an M580 where you have loaded an application, the application is cloned on the card. If you take that card and put it on the shelf, it can be used to load a new unconfigured M580 without programming software. Make sure that automatic start in run is checked so that the M580 will come up in run mode if you do this
