Export the PME configuration from Device Manager and Import it into the latest version of ION Setup.
Note: Device configuration can be exported into a CSV file as of PME 2020.
- Export device lists from Device Manager:
- Inside of the Web Applications navigate to SETTINGS > System > Device Manager.
- In Device Manager, select the Devices or the Sites tab.
- Click Options in the top right corner of the display pane, and then click Export Network Configuration for Use in a Different System in the options menu. This exports the configuration and saves it in CSV file format to your local Downloads folder.
- Transfer the exported configuration file to the target system.
Note: Keep the configuration file secure during and after the transfer to prevent unauthorized access.
- Import the CSV into ION Setup version 3.2.20182.01 or greater. See FA212816 for the latest version of ION Setup.
Note: The name of the CSV file is the name of the system when it is imported into ION Setup.
- Open ION Setup.
- Select File > Import Network and select the saved CSV file from step 1.
- Check the Overwrite existing network configuration to have ION Setup match PME and click Import.
- Exit Network Import and select File > Save to keep the imported device configuration
