How to order cover kits for the controller and meter on UL Type 3R enclosures.

In applications where there is prolonged exposure to direct sunlight (UV), the use of double-door Secure UL Type 3R enclosures (code ‘M’ in the catalog string) is recommended so that the controller and meter front faces are protected by the outer door.  If a standard, non-secure UL Type 3R (enclosure code ‘F’) was ordered, cover kits can be purchased and field-installed to provide protection in the absence of the outer door.
