How can the Output Phase Fault (OPF) for the ATV61/71 drive be disabled?

Issue:

Disabling OPF on an ATV61/71 drive.

Product Line:

ATV61/71

Environment:

All

Cause:

Customer wanted to know how to test drive in open circuit.

Resolution:

Keep in mind that this will disable the output phase loss protection. It may be advisable to provide external phase loss protection for the motor by using overloads.

Go to 1.6 ( Fault Management menu): Scroll to the Output Phase Loss (OPL) parameter.

Press ENT (enter).

Scroll to NO.

Press ENT (enter).

** Note: While this will allow you to run with an output disconnect or contactor that may cause nuisance tripping, there are other parameters which also have to be changed in order to run

the drive with no motor or no load on the motor.
