What are the changes for the new XB4/XB5 Pilot Light?
The main difference would be:
1) All Light Blocks will now be color WHITE unlike before, all Light Blocks have different color with respect to their Pilot Light head.
2) There will be a rationalization on references belonging to following functions:
-Complete body/contact assemblies and light blocks such as:
ZB4BW0***
ZB5AW0***
-Complete light bodies such as:
ZB4BV**
ZB5AV**
-Standalone light blocks such as:
ZBV**
ZALV**
For example:
ZBVB1 (white)
ZBVB3 (green)
ZBVB4 (red) ➔ ZBVB1
ZBVB5 (orange)
ZBVB6 (blue)
ZBVB8 (yellow)
The complete pushbuttons references remain the same.
3) Packaging:
What are the benefits for this change?
1) Light blocks and subassemblies (core offer): from 299 references to 65 references representing a decrease of 78%
2) True colors for green and yellow
3) More homogenous brightness
4) Simplify maintenance (only 1 led for all colors)
When will this take effect?
New illuminated offer’s production start is planned by mid-September 2022. Once production stock will be ready, commercialization will start by end-September 2022.
The substitution scenario is planned as below:
