What are the length limit for voltage acquisition cable from voltage adapters to SC150 or LV150 modules

This length is limited to 4m when using VT, or for low voltage input to an LV150 module as explicated in related voltage adapters installation guides. We even recommend to limit to 1 meter when possible.

For other cases (VPIS, VDS, LPVT) the most important are the conditions of installation, to avoid influence of nearby perturbations

Keypoint is to implement usual installation rules related to EMC for low current signals

- Good cable with shield (Cat6)

- Avoid cable loops (antenna)

- Avoid vicinity with high currents (motors, power supplies)

- Good grounding of electronic devices and metallic masses

Length itself until 10m is not an issue as such for VPIS & LPVT if these conditions are fulfilled, it just increases the probability to be influenced by perturbations…
