Resolution
A 24VDC, 8 Watt (minimum) power supply (plus or minus 10% regulation) is required to power EGX devices.

Additionally, the EGX100, EGX300, and EGX150 do support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
However, as per FA209559, do not connect both PoE and external 24VDC power supply or it may result in intermittent communication.

Note: If polarity is reversed on the 24VDC power supply (+/-), the device will not be damaged.  It will continue to function normally once the power supply is returned to the instructed configuration.
