How to set up custom display on the ATV61 and ATV71 drives to show motor speed as a percent of motor rated frequency, 60Hz.
Issue:
ATV61/ATV71 Drives display customization to show speed as a percent
Product Line:
ATV61 and ATV71
Cause:
Wants to view the motor speed as a %, not in Hz.
Resolution:
1st Main menu, ACCESS LEVEL is set to Expert
Under the Main menu, go to menu 7 Display, User parameters 7.1, parameter selection, Monitoring 1.2
Choose Output Frequency by putting a checkmark beside it. Uncheck any others that are not used.
ESC twice back to menu 7.1 and choose Customized selection
Now choose Output Frequency
Setup as follows
User Name Blank
Unit = %
Mulitplier = 100
Divisor = 60
The multiplier and divisor convert the Output Freq Hz to a value that is a percentage of the 0-60Hz range.
ESC ESC ESC ESC back to the Main menu again
Now choose Menu 6, Monitoring Config, Monitor screen type 6.2, Digital, ESC back out once to Menu 6.2 and select Parameter selection. Add a checkmark beside the Output frequency boxand uncheck any other boxes that are not needed. If you want to leave the freq reference on the screen you can leave its box checked.
Now ESC all the way back to the display that is now showing your speed as a %.
