How do I perform an auto diagnostics test on an ATV61/71?
Issue:
Needs to run an auto diagnostics test on an ATV61 to verify the state of the internal components.
Product line:
Altivar 61/71
Environment:
All models, all serial numbers
Cause:
Getting short circuit faults, needs to run a diagnostics test form the drive.
Resolution:
From Drive Menu, go to Menu 1.10 DIAGNOSTICS:
Then Go to option "Test Procedures" and press Enter on the desired test, a caution message will appear. To start the tests, press and hold down (2 s) the ENT key.
The result for each IGBT is displayed on 2 lines:
- The first line shows whether or not it has short-circuited
- The second line shows whether or not it is open
Notes:
[TEST THYRISTORS] is only accessible for ATV61...M3 => 18.5 kW, ATV61...N4 drives => 18.5 kW, and all ratings of ATV61...Y drives.
Test results for Thyristor 4...12 and IGBT 1B...6B are only accessible for ATV61EC90N4 to M14N4 and ATV61EM15Y to M24Y
