Cause
It is not recommended to use a USB to Serial converter dongle for Modem connection directly to the PME server

Resolution
Two main options for connecting modems to a physical server without a COMM port.

1) Add an internal PCI card with serial ports example (http://www.comtrolstore.com/RocketPort_Express_PCIe_4_Port_s/413.htm)

2) USB to Serial converter such as http://www.digi.com/products/usb/edgeport#models
