This article shows how to verify the meter operation while connected to a circuit.
(1) Use the phasor diagram to verify the meters wiring as described in the meter's installation guide.
(2) Confirm nonzero readings for voltage and current readings according to the electrical service type.
(3) Verify the meter's event log for unusual events (201/246 DSP reset ION events).
(4) Verify the sag/swell count, if there is an abnormal count, the events should be investigated.
When the meter is connected to MV-90, the events and revenue log information can be read as described in the MV-90 and ION Technology technical note.
