Issue:
When connecting to an HMI over the internet, sometimes Vijeo Design'Air cannot connect. Upon investigation it is because the ISP Modem has a dynamic IP address.

Resolution:
When your ISP's Modem has a dynamic IP address, it is possible that it can change over time. When this is the case, any connectivity to the HMI over the Internet will fail until you have the correct IP address. Therefore it is best to have a static IP address from your ISP. This will ensure uninterrupted acesss to your HMI over the internet via Vijeo Design'Air and Web Gate.
